There are things we carry too long: memories untold, fears too delicate for conversation, desires we dare not name, visions, dreams, questions. This is where a Poetic Consultation begins.
A Poetic Consultation is more than a performance—it is a suspended moment, a quiet space where poetry blooms with honesty. It is not therapy, but it soothes. A private, attentive, and unhurried ritual in which you are invited to speak freely, without judgment or interruption. Bring what weighs on you: a story, a dream, a sorrow, a hope, or a secret no one else has fully heard.
I listen—not to respond, but to receive, as one listens for water underground. Then I write: a single, one-of-a-kind poem composed with intention on my typewriter, drawn from your words and transformed into revelation.
Format & Availability
Sessions are offered by phone, online, or in person. Virtual or physical appointments are available on Fridays through the summer. Each session concludes with your poem, delivered with care via email or postal mail.
Appointments & Pricing
Appointments are limited and by request only. Pricing begins at $100, with a sliding scale available for those in need. Elaborate rituals and mailed keepsakes can be arranged privately.
